In “Lagos Landing,” a romantic thriller inspired by true events, Jacqueline, a prim and proper French woman from the middle class, seeks the adventurous and romantic love she’s always dreamed of by joining a dating site. She connects with Bayo, a self-made lawyer from West Africa who appears to lead a dull life. After a few weeks of online interaction, Jacqueline travels to Lagos, Nigeria, to meet Bayo in person. However, upon her arrival and while being picked up by Emeka, Bayo’s driver, she becomes a victim of mistaken identity.
“Lagos Landing” unfolds the story of two individuals from vastly different backgrounds whose lives intertwine due to a twist of fate. It’s a tale of survival, adventure, deceit, betrayal, and the discovery of true love in unexpected places.
