Set over a decade after the events of “Terminator 2,” John Connor now lives as a nomad, evading detection to prevent any further assassination attempts by futuristic Terminators.

However, Skynet sends a new, even more formidable Terminator, the T-X, to eliminate John. In response, a reprogrammed CSM-101 Terminator is dispatched to protect him. Meanwhile, Skynet begins infiltrating civilian and military computer systems, posing as a virus, as it prepares to launch a devastating attack.

John crosses paths with Kate Brewster, his future wife, whose father, a U.S. Air Force General, oversees military computer systems. As Skynet’s infiltration spreads, the world teeters on the brink of nuclear war.
